of Pure Oud

Kinam (or Kyara) is an anomaly of nature. When the Aquilaria tree is wounded, it defends itself by producing a dense, dark resin. Over decades, or even centuries, this resin matures into Oud. But Kinam is rarer still—a specific, unexplained mutation that occurs in less than 1% of wild agarwood.
Unlike standard oud, which can be harsh or purely animalic, Kinam possesses a unique 'cooling' sensation, layered with honeyed sweetness, bitter medicinal notes, and an ethereal floral quality that cannot be synthesized.
At TORAX, we have secured a private reserve of vintage Kinam. It acts as the structural spine of our entire collection, grounding our ephemeral top notes and extending the life of our bases to extraordinary lengths.
